Chairmans Council

To maintain the Orchestra’s presence on the world stage, ACO’s visionary Chairman, Guido Belgiorno-Nettis AM, formed his Chairman’s Council in 2004.  Dedicated to supporting the ACO’s international touring objectives, the Chairman’s Council provides the ACO with the financial security to allow for future international planning.

International Touring

International touring is paramount to the ACO and ensures that the Orchestra’s enviable reputation is upheld both in Australia and abroad.  Critically acclaimed as one of the world’s finest orchestras, the ACO tours overseas every year, assuring its Australian audiences of performances comparable with orchestras around the globe. In 2008, the Orchestra will tour both Europe and Asia.

2008 Asian Tour

The Austalian Chamber Orchestra tours Japan in October with acclaimed flute-player Emmanuel Pahud.

2007 North American Tour
