Brisbane Fundraising Concert and Cocktail Party

In August last year, 200 guests gathered at Gallery of Modern Art, Brisbane, for the ACO's 2008 Brisbane fundraising event. In the stunning surrounds of this new gallery, the evening featured gorgeous raffle prizes from event sponsor Tiffany & Co. and a Live Auction which raised over $30,000 to support the ACO's Emerging Artists and Education Programs. The highlight of the evening was a beautiful performance by Richard and the Orchestra that included Vivaldi's double cello concerto, Debussy's string quartet and a popular favourite, Piazolla's Oblivion.
This year, we look forward to coming to Brisbane for an equally enchanting evening on Saturday 25 October. Sponsored once again by Tiffany & Co, guests can expect a beautiful cocktail party on the banks of the Brisbane river at the Gallery of Modern Art (GOMA). The evening will include a spectacular performance by the Australian Chamber Orchestra, lead by Richard Tognetti with special guest artist Katie Noonan. Following on from the success of the live auction in 2007, this year we will be adding an exciting silent auction.
