How you can help the ACO
The ACO receives less than 15% of its income from government bodies. To realise our vision and make world-class music accessible to all Australians and in particular young Australians, we rely on your support. We invite you to support one of the following programs and in doing so, to help us to guarantee the future of the ACO:
Medici Program
In time-honoured fashion, the ACO's Medici Patrons support our individual players' Chairs and assist the Orchestra to attract and retain musicians of the highest calibre. Become a Medici Patron and form a close and lasting relationship with the individual player, with a direct impact on his or her career and, at the same time, become a valued member of the ACO family. Emerging Artists Program
Become a Patron of the ACO's Emerging Artists Program and help us to foster young Australian talent across the country. The Emerging Artists Program is a mentoring program for talented young musicians, graduates of which may become members of the ACO of the future. Learn more.
Recordings and New Commissions Program
Support the ACO's Recordings Program and help us to preserve something of the essence of the ACO as it is today. Recordings allow audiences to hear the ACO as we are now - again and again, for many years to come. Or help us commission a new work and encourage outstanding Australian composers to have their work performed by the Orchestra both here and on the international stage.
Capital Challenge
Become a Patron of the ACO's Capital Challenge and help us to secure and, at the same time, inspire our future. The Capital Challenge is a secure fund which will permanently strengthen the ACO. Your support will give us the freedom to be audacious and adventurous from a secure and reliable base. Learn more.
Bequests
If you have been inspired and enchanted by the ACO in the past, we hope that you will remember our future and consider making a gift to the Orchestra in your Will. You may wish to leave a general legacy or to specify support for a particular Program. Learn more.
