Schools Ticketing Program
The Australian Chamber Orchestra (ACO) invites you to join the ACO Schools’ Program in 2008.
The ACO is internationally renowned for its dynamic performances, innovative programming and commitment to excellence. With youthful, energetic players, the ACO is the most inspiring orchestra in Australia for young music-lovers to see.
In 2008, many ACO programs include music from a range of periods, from Baroque and Classical to contemporary, so you will find concerts that compliment your curriculum.
The ACO Schools’ Program offers students tickets for just $18 (a discount of up to 75%), with a range of educational background material provided free:
- $18 concert tickets for students;
- Each teacher per 10 students pays a discounted price of $36;
- Pre-concert talks 45 minutes prior to performances in all venues;
- Complimentary concert program for each student attending a performance;
- ’Music Notes’ provided in advance with notes on composers and performers;
- Free ACO CD for each student attending a performance;
- Regular orchestra updates - each member school will receive the ACO newsletter, Staccato.
