The company is run by about 30 staff, with roles in artistic administration, operations management, business development, finance, IT and marketing. Our staff performs a crucial (albeit largely invisible) role in supporting the public face of the Orchestra.
There are no vacancies currently.
The ACO is known for programming a broad range of music and we are very much interested in expanding the repertoire for chamber orchestras. However due to our unique touring pattern, the ACO offers only a handful of programs a year, so opportunities for composers are relatively limited.
The ACO is a touring orchestra which offers only seven national programs each year. Opportunities for soloists are extremely limited and highly sought-after. Due to the overwhelming amount of interest, the ACO can no longer accept unsolicited material from soloists or artist managers.
