OUR INSTRUMENTS
Musicians in the ACO are privileged to play on some of the finest instruments in the world, some of which were made in the historical period known as the Golden Age of stringed instruments.
This would not have been possible without the generosity of private benefactors and key patrons such as Peter Weiss AO and Guido and Michelle Belgiorno-Nettis, the Commonwealth Bank of Australia as well as the ACO Instrument Fund – an initiative of the ACO which enables investors to participate in a bank of historic stringed instruments.
