ACO VIRTUAL has completed two successful seasons in regional Queensland; at Gatakers Artspace Maryborough and the Gladstone Regional Art Gallery and Museum, completing our run of installations in Queensland for 2015.

There have been seven ACO VIRTUAL installations in Queensland since it first opened at the Gold Coast Arts Centre in June 2013, with 15,774 people experiencing the installation in QLD alone. It will be back to regional Queensland in 2016, with an eight week installation at Ipswich Art Gallery.

Since June 2013, over 42,000 people have experienced ACO VIRTUAL across three states. It has also just been featured as part of the Australian Performing Arts Centre’s Association annual conference at Carriageworks in Sydney. This conference attracts almost every regional presenter and delegates from all major performing arts venue across Australia.

ACO VIRTUAL is at the Darwin Entertainment Centre this month and then off to Bunbury in WA, while our second kit flies to Hong Kong for the ACO’s upcoming residency in November for our first international installation.
