Pekka & His ACO Collective Debut

Posted on 3 Feb 2016 by Leo Messias

Pekka Kuusisto chats to ABC Classic FM's Martin Buzzacot about how today's breakdown of genre boundaries in contemporary classical music served as inspiration for Beethoven & The 21st Century, plus his approach to introducing new music to ACO Collective's repertoire and expanding the group's reach to other artistic practices, and how he would ultimately love for ACO Collective to challenge the ACO - joking that his goal is to make the ACO "look boring" in comparison.
