I write to add my congratulations to the many you must have already received following last nights wonderful concert. Anthony Marwood led the Orchestra with great musicianship and the players displayed their talents to the full. The energy in the recital hall was palpable. As the Octet For Strings come to an end the audience erupted as one. This was indeed one of the best concerts I have attended. Congratulations and best wishes to all.

I’ve just come back from the concert tonight, and wanted to let you know that once again I’m reminded of why I subscribe to the ACO (not that I need reminding in the least). It was completely and utterly thrilling – I was on the edge of my seat the whole night. The playing was brilliant, the program was fantastic – I feel extremely privileged to have been there, and want to tell everyone I know to buy tickets immediately.

Another enjoyable concert by the @A_C_O. Really liked the Enescu Octet for Strings – it’s almost a symphony!

Anthony Marwood joins the ACO’s for a season finale to remember. Stravinsky’s Divertimento, Dvorák’s uplifting Serenade and late-Romantic composer Enescu’s gutsy Octet arranged for string orchestra.
Hear this acclaimed British violinist at venues across Australia from 14–30 November. Book now.
