The Royal Children's Hospital, melbourne
The ACO Inspire Quartet partners with teachers at the hospital’s Education Institute to continue students’ learning while they are in hospital. Students collaborate with our professional musicians to write, perform and record their songs, developing music and literacy skills that they can use when they return to school.
The RCH Education Institute provides individualised teaching and learning programs for children and young people to keep them engaged as learners throughout their hospital stay. Their goal is to make the transition from hospital back to school or kindergarten as seamless as possible by keeping students connected to their regular learning environment and their peers.
The Education Institute is funded by the Victorian Department of Education and Training.
