On Wed 26 Feb 2014 we hosted a free 2 hour workshop at our Sydney Studio to assist teachers to integrate Indigenous Australian composition themes with the Secondary Music Syllabus. Teachers were encouraged to bring senior music students along to this workshop to foster an inclusive and inspiring composition environment. We have also compiled a free Teaching Kit based on compositions inspired by Indigenous music. Video content is also available. Contact us for further details email@example.com
After assessment by our expert panel, the winning composition will be recorded by the ACO during a rehearsal and the successful student will also receive 3x double passes to ACO performances in their state*.
To enter the Composition Competition, submit your score, a brief written explanation of the Indigenous cultural references and sources and an optional recording (mp3) of your composition, along with the Composition Competition Application Form via post:

Amazing – the musicians are very impressive, while also relaxed. I learnt how compatible didj is with string quartet. Titus Grenyer, Composition Worksho
