ACO Principal Cello Timo-Veikko Valve with Peter Weiss, an Australian philanthropist who has donated generously to the Instrument Fund

The ACO Instrument Fund was made possible in the beginning with substantial donations by Instrument Fund Founding Patron Peter Weiss AO, Naomi Milgrom AO, the late Amina Belgiorno-Nettis, John Leece AM and Anne Leece and John Taberner.

Donations can be made to the ACO for the ongoing maintenance and upkeep of the Fund and its bank of historic stringed instruments.

From the smallest to the largest donation, we are grateful to our donors for their support of the Orchestra and this unique initiative.

How To Donate

A fully tax-deductible donation to support the ACO with the maintenance and upkeep of the Fund and its assets can be made at any time through our website.

If you are having trouble donating online, would like to discuss a larger donation or the loan or donation of a rare instrument, or a bequest to the ACO in support of the ACO Instrument Fund, please contact our Philanthropy Manager:
