Australian Chamber Orchestra
The Australian Chamber Orchestra return to London for the second of our three seasons in residence as International Associate Ensemble at Milton Court at the Barbican Centre.
The Orchestra will perform three concerts from 3 - 5 October as part of the Barbican Presents 2019/20 Season, once again bringing the daring virtuosity, and sense of adventure for which they are so renowned around the world to audiences in London.

The Orchestra begin our residency with a highlight of our 2018 Season, a reimagining of JS Bach's iconic Goldberg Variations for string Orchestra.

Music from Britten and Janáček to REM and Pēteris Vasks.
Our collaboration with photographer Bill Henson comes to the UK for the very first time in this 2019 incarnation of Luminous, which includes new music, imagery and vocals from Lior.

Musicians from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama join the Orchestra on stage in an inspiring conclusion to our second residency, which includes Tognetti led performances of Britten's Variations on a Theme of Frank Bridge and Vaughan Williams' beloved masterpiece, The Lark Ascending.
