Founded by the great fiddler Yehudi Menuhin in 1957, the festival is held every European summer in the scenic Swiss alpine town of Gstaad. This year, Richard Tognetti and the Orchestra perform three different concerts at Saanen Church.

Directed by Richard Tognetti, our first concert offers audiences an immersive experience with music by Bach only, followed by ‘Hope pays homage to Yehudi Menuhin’, in which acclaimed violinist Daniel Hope joins the ACO to perform a very personal homage to his mentor Menuhin. Wrapping up our participation in this critically acclaimed festival, Venezuelan pianist Gabriela Montero performs alongside the Orchestra some of Mozart’s greatest works.

This project has been assisted by the Australian government through the Ministry for the Arts’ Catalyst—Australian Arts and Culture Fund
