ACO Underground 2012
1 April 2012
Electro-acoustic collective ACO Underground is joined by specially curated guests in a one-night-only performance at New York loft-style music venue, The Standard in Surry Hills.
Founder, curator and front-woman Satu Vänskä has put together a set list including ballads by David Bowie and R.E.M., a German cabaret number made famous by Marlene Dietrich, works for string quartet by Paganini and Crumb, and much more.
ACO Underground's eclectic, genre-bending performances are like a history of
music set to 'shuffle', featuring musicians from "badass classical
band" (TimeOut New York) the Australian Chamber Orchestra.
Opening support act
