TarraWarra Festival 2015 offers a blend of fine art, live music and stunning views,
featuring intimate concerts led by Richard Tognetti.
Richard Tognetti, large-scale theatre specialist, Nigel Jamieson, and one of Australia’s
greatest storytellers, Neil Armfield join forces to present this heartfelt exploration of
our ANZAC story through music, spoken text and visual imagery, where an Australian’s
elegy for his friend brushes shoulders with the words of the father of modern Turkey.
The ACO heads back to the United States in April 2015 with much loved collaborator
Martin Fröst for an extensive tour featuring the US premiere of Jonny Greenwood’s
Water, and culminating in a performance in Carnegie Hall.
The Australian Chamber Orchestra presents ‘Around the World’ performed
by ACO2 and starring international director and acclaimed violinist
Benjamin Schmid. ACO2 brings together musicians from the ACO
with the rising stars of Australian music.
Mendelssohn’s beautiful Violin Concerto, in an intimate arrangement for string
orchestra, plus his String Symphony No.9.
Richard Egarr directs a program of music from the 'Golden Age' including
works by Purcell, W Lawes, Bach and Haydn.
Mezzo-soprano Susan Graham is joined by ACO players and guests in this intimate
French chamber program.

Richard Tognetti leads the ACO for Brahms Symphony No.3 and Mozart's Sinfonia
The Australian Chamber Orchestra presents ‘The Best of British’ performed
by ACO2 and starring international director and violinist Alexander
Sitkovetsky. ACO2 brings together musicians from the ACO with
the rising stars of Australian music.
Olli Mustonen joins the ACO as soloist in Bach’s Concerto for Keyboard, directing
Hindemith’s The Four Temperaments from the piano, and
then he invites Timo-Veikko Valve to perform the world premiere of his Sonata for
Cello and Orchestra.
Richard Tognetti leads the ACO in an all-Mozart program featuring the composers
last 3 symphonies.
Tchaikovsky's beautful Serenade for Strings, Vasks' Vox
Amoris, and works by Bach and Haydn.
Basel Chamber Orchestra make their Australian debut in these special performances
that form part of an exchange that sees the ACO reciprocate with concerts in Switzerland
Almost 300 years after Vivaldi penned the Four Seasons, Joseph Tawadros
joins Richard Tognetti in this cross cultural program mixing the sounds of the near
east with one of the most quintessentially Baroque works.
