JBWere and ACO Collective

The Australian Chamber Orchestra (ACO) has today announced that private wealth management company JBWere has become Principal Partner of ACO Collective, the Orchestra’s critically acclaimed ensemble that unites the renowned musicians of the ACO with Australia’s most talented young professional string players.

As Principal Partner of ACO Collective, JBWere will provide invaluable support towards mentoring and training the next generation of Australian string musicians as well as ensuring that world-class music is accessible to communities throughout Australia through the ensemble’s extensive regional touring activities.

Under the direction of ACO Principal Violin Helena Rathbone, ACO Collective serves as an essential bridge for exceptional young Australian string players, providing them with invaluable mentoring and professional performance opportunities at the beginning of their careers. Established by the ACO in 2007, the ensemble has performed in every state and territory with a focus on regional touring, toured internationally, and collaborated with renowned Australian and international guest artists. ACO Collective alumni can be found in professional orchestras all over the world, including six core musicians of the ACO.

JBWere CEO Michael Saadie says, “At JBWere, we recognise the importance of generations to come, whilst honouring the immense value of legacy.

“In extending our relationship with the ACO as Principal Partner of ACO Collective, we are proud to support the sharing of knowledge and advice from the most experienced members of the ACO with those who will contribute to its future, and helping music reach communities across Australia.”

ACO Managing Director Richard Evans says, “The ACO is delighted that JBWere has become the Principal Partner of ACO Collective. JBWere has a long history with the ACO, as the ACO’s Investment Advisor and as the Australian Financial Services Licence holder of the ACO Instrument Fund. Through becoming the Principal Partner of ACO Collective, JBWere will be providing essential support for the next generation of world-class Australian string players.”
