This August, discover the ACO in full symphonic force as Richard Tognetti directs
the Orchestra in one of the greatest symphonies of all time, Brahms’ colossal
Third Symphony, and takes audiences on a journey through Mozart’s dazzling Sinfonia
Concertante and the Overture to his ever-popular The Magic Flute.
The Australian Chamber Orchestra presents ‘The Best of British’ performed
by ACO2 and starring international director and violinist Alexander
Sitkovetsky. ACO2 brings together musicians from the ACO with
the rising stars of Australian music.
Olli Mustonen joins the ACO as soloist in Bach’s Concerto for Keyboard, directing
Hindemith’s The Four Temperaments from the piano, and
then he invites Timo-Veikko Valve to perform the world premiere of his Sonata for
Cello and Orchestra.
