ACO and UKARIA On Tour present Lawrence Power and Friends
British violist Lawrence Power is regarded as one of the finest string players of his generation. For his Pier 2/3 debut in October this year he’ll be performing alongside a stellar line-up of international musicians: Vilde Frang, Torleif Thedéen and Alessio Bax .
The program, curated by Power, ranges from the Baroque to the Contemporary, taking in chamber music for different combinations of viola, violin, cello and piano, culminating in the stunningly expressive Second Piano Quartet by Gabriel Fauré.
This is an unmissable chance to hear some of the most brilliant and renowned international musicians in an intimate, one-off Sydney concert that showcases their virtuosity and musical friendship.
