Many of the venues we perform in require patrons to show proof of vaccination to attend events, with the exception of Llewellyn Hall in Canberra, which does not require patrons to show their vaccination status. Requirements for individual concert venues can be found at aco.com.au/covid.

There is much to discover about the musicians in the ACO in this series of recitals in Sydney and Melbourne. Hailing from eight countries and 14 cities, every ACO musician has their own story and unique musical journey. Our ACO Up Close series delves into these stories, revealing the music they love, their life outside the ACO and so much more.
Joined by pianist Tamara-Anna Cislowska, Satu Vänskä will present a program of music closest to her heart. You’ll enjoy celebrated classics and exciting new discoveries, all to be unpacked in conversation with host Kumi Taguchi.

Do I need to be vaccinated to attend live ACO concerts?
Do I have to wear a mask?
Yes, mask-wearing is currently mandatory in indoor settings for all states we’re touring to. Click here to see the latest updates from the Federal Government.
What happens if borders to some states stay closed?
We are confident after our discussions with government and industry partners that the national and state vaccination targets will be met, and borders will reopen in time for our first interstate performances from February 2022 onwards. We have venues, flights and accommodation booked for our musicians. If some borders do remain closed refunds will be offered.
