During his national concert tour with the ACO, Ilya Gringolts steps away from the Orchestra for one night only in an intimate solo recital.

Presented in the round at ACO Pier 2/3 in Sydney, this is a unique chance to get up close with one of the world’s greatest violinists as he presents timeless Baroque music by Bach and his contemporaries.

Each performance is presented by a host, enabling us to get to know the musicians in their own words and revealing more about the music.

ACO Up Close takes place in The Neilson, the state-of-the art 270-seat concert hall at the newly opened ACO Pier 2/3 in the Walsh Bay Arts Precinct. Acclaimed for its extraordinary acoustic, The Neilson provides an intimate context for these concerts.
