Sound of Australia Family Day

Sounds of Australia Family Day

Join the Australian Chamber Orchestra for an immersive day of discovery for the whole family, featuring performances with didgeridoo virtuoso William Barton.

Here at the ACO, we love nothing more than welcoming music lovers of all ages to our amazing home at Pier 2/3. Join us for this special ACO Family Day as part of the ACO Pier 2/3 Total Immersion Festival, and immerse yourselves in the sounds of Australia.

Featuring all-Australian music, these family concerts will transport you to the unique sounds, landscapes, and stories of the land we call home. Directed by ACO Principal Violin Helena Rathbone with guest artist, didgeridoo virtuoso William Barton, this extraordinary concert is suitable for audiences of all ages.

As with all our ACO Family Days, children can experience free creative play activities before and after the performance, while adults can enjoy tea, coffee and refreshments in our foyer spaces, all whilst taking in the spectacular views of Sydney Harbour.
