
Join internationally renowned violinist Anthony Marwood MBE for a special afternoon of artistry and collaboration with students from the Sydney Conservatorium of Music. This concert marks the culmination of an intensive week of rehearsals, workshops, and mentoring, as Marwood shares his experience and musicianship with the next generation of performers.
The program features Mozart’s radiant String Quartet No. 17 in B-flat major, K. 458 ‘The Hunt’ and concludes with Pēteris Vasks’ deeply moving Violin Concerto No. 1 ‘Distant Light’ (Tāla gaisma), with Marwood as soloist alongside the SCM String Orchestra.
