June ACO Family Day: Tchaikovsky and Beyond

Step into a world of colour, imagination, and irresistible rhythm as we journey through the Romantic era and beyond! This vibrant family concert introduces young music‑lovers to the storytelling power of composers like Grieg, Tchaikovsky, and Saint‑Saëns, alongside sparkling contemporary and folk‑inspired gems.

ACO Family Days include a 30-minute concert, introducing young listeners to different musical instruments and styles, followed by hands-on creative play and music-making activities. In June, families will enjoy our special Try an Instrument experience offering the chance to try real string instruments provided in partnership with Sydney String Centre. Their generous support makes it possible for children to hold, play, and discover string instruments up close.

Tickets are $29 for adults and children and include both the performance and access to our creative play experience. Tea, coffee, and refreshments are available for purchase in our shared foyer and can be enjoyed whilst taking in the spectacular views of Sydney Harbour.

Suitable for all ages but recommended for families with children aged 2-8 years old.
