Next year is all about Beethoven, but why wait?
Join Sydney Harbour Ensemble for an evening celebrating two very different sides of Beethoven, featuring Symphony No. 4 and the monumental Piano Concerto No. 5, ‘Emperor’, performed by acclaimed pianist Joshua Han.
Often overshadowed by Beethoven’s more famous symphonies, the Fourth is a work of remarkable wit, energy and lyricism, while the ‘Emperor’ stands among the greatest and most celebrated piano concertos ever written. Together, the works offer a captivating portrait of Beethoven at his most inventive, dramatic and exhilarating.
Conducted by Benjamin Crowe, Sydney Harbour Ensemble brings these masterpieces to the intimate setting of The Neilson, ACO On The Pier, overlooking the sublime Sydney Harbour.
