ACO Academy

Inspiring young musicians to continue their music studies is vital to the future of Australian classical music.
ACO Academy is an essential experience for any talented young string player who wants to be challenged and inspired. Led by violinist Aiko Goto, this annual program brings string players from across Australia together for an intensive week of workshops with ACO musicians. Participants build on technical skills, accuracy, ensemble playing, leading an communicating, and performance style.

Academy really felt like a family, not by the end, but by the third hour, with all the pros and admin staff providing a space and atmosphere where we could all unwind, and play some amazing music- Jonathan Bruhl, ACO Academy Participant
