Fri 7 Nov, 7:00pm
Presented by the Australian Chamber Orchestra in partnership with Arts & Cultural Exchange.
Join us for a truly unique musical event as the Australian Chamber Orchestra partners with Club Weld - a groundbreaking music program for neurodiverse artists - to present an evening of bold and inclusive creativity.
Enjoy an extraordinary fusion of talent as musicians from Club Weld and the ACO take the stage at ACO On The Pier to perform original works developed in collaboration. Expect a vibrant tapestry of genres and styles, showcasing the artistic voices of neurodiverse musicians alongside one of Australia’s most celebrated orchestras.
Since 2015, Club Weld - an initiative of Arts and Cultural Exchange - has empowered artists with autism and other disabilities to create, perform, and release music through an artist-led, non-therapeutic practice. Their work has been performed at the Sydney Opera House, Art Gallery of NSW, and they’ve featured in national media. This is more than a concert. It’s a powerful celebration of creativity, inclusion, and the transformative power of music.
