Discover the joy of making music this school holidays with the ACO Foundations: Beginner Strings Intensive, a five-day string workshop designed especially for first-time players aged 7-10. Held at ACO On The Pier, this immersive program introduces young musicians to the fundamentals of string playing on violin or cello through engaging, hands-on learning with our experienced ACO Foundations educators.
Across the week, students will explore essential techniques, develop confidence with their instrument, and build musical skills through games, ensemble activities, and creative music-making. Participants can choose violin or cello, all instruments are provided, and no prior experience or music knowledge is needed - just curiosity and enthusiasm.
